Prioritized Daily Task

Breakfast with Doug and Becca Yancey - Because of Doug's interest in the Old South Bend Cemetery getting it cleared and his dad's cousin's grave being moved from the deceased's uncle down one row to be next to his own parents, not Doug's dad's parents.  It was he who charged Doug to get his cousin's body and casket move so he could be buried next to his parents and grandparents.  Doug got in touch with his cousin's family and there was no objection.  The Atlanta Journal Newspaper wrote a story about it and how Doug had got the old cemetery cleaned off.  He got support from the full-time missionaries, the community, and the school that owns the land around The Old South Bend Cemetery.  The church no longer exists and no one has been keeping it up; the county and city deeded to the cemetery to Doug Yancey.

10:30 AM Visit "Dickie" Hoyat Puckett in Tallapoosa

Call and talk to David McCollum in Cedartown, Danny's brother.  Their older brother Larry died last week.  Their older sister Jackie and her husband are dead.  Their younger sister Jan is still living but her husband has passed away.  Danny and I worked and boarded together when we worked at Lockheed in Marietta, GA.  Danny was killed in an auto wreck.  I was driving the car when Danny and Randy Raveneck, a 16-year-old young man was killed.

Talked to Debbie this morning and had prayer with her before starting my day.

2 PM - meeting with Mindy Miller Moats at Miller's funeral home.  I gave her the information of what I want regarding my funeral.  I signed a contract but did not give her a credit card.  I want a few days to think it over and then I will pay her for an irrevocable insurance contract to pay the funeral expenses.  (there are four documents from Millers Funeral Home that I did not download here, (personal notes from Mindy, pre-need funeral service, application for group life insurance and forms to make Millers Funeral Home the beneficiary). * (Note journal entry Friday, April 16th, 2021 - Michael and Matthew asks me to let them handle this; all they ask is for are my wishes and instructions)

I drove to Cedartown and visited with Max.  His children and grandchildren are coming to town to spend a few days with their mother, Debbie, on her birthday in Blairsville, GA.

Max went with me and I picked up dinner for Joan Dupon, her grandson, Cas, and friend, Will.  I took Max back home.  Faith and her family are all here but Spencer and his family are held up from leaving Destin, FL because of the tornados.  Maury is flying in on Friday.  I had dinner with Joan, Max's sister, and Cas.  Will got home late almost 10 PM from work.

I talked to Debbie and had prayer with her before going to bed.  Cooper went home from school at Rexburg today with pneumonia.
