 19 Jan 2022, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task Isabella "Bella" 9th Birthday Give Debbie a blessing before I leave. Debbie and I had prayer.  Jared brought Jack over for us to watch today.  He is working from home because of Covid.  His company is having an emergency meeting today at 10 AM.  Jack is full of energy and will not be still and quiet.  Jared and his family live in an apartment and he needs things to be quiet during his meeting; that is why he brought Jack over for us to watch.  Debbie showed him her plans for the backyard.  Jared had some good suggestions to clean up the plans and make it more simple. I called the Atlanta Temple and put Kylie Jo Hobbs' and Debbie's names on the prayer roll.  Kylie is having some challenges accepting the family moving from St. George to Logan where her Dad, Ryan, has taken a job at Utah State University in Logan, UT.  Kylie's friends in large part are seniors and one of them is a boy....

11 Nov 2021, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task Veterans Day 9:30 AM - Debbie's doctor's appointment, Dr. Toran MacArthur (CANCELED) 2:30 PM - Acupuncture - appointment with Stephanie Scott Debbie was up early and went to Curves and Legacy Center to exercise.  When she got home we had prayer together and I went to the Legacy Center and exercised.  I am getting back to doing push-ups and pull-ups with my left hand.  I am not there yet and can only do one or two but it is a big improvement over where I was a month ago.  18 Jan 2022, Tuesday Priorit ized Daily Task 10:00 AM - Appointment Dr. David Kimball for physical; go fasting for bloodwork After my appointment, I went to the Legacy Center to exercise.  I called and talked to Ora.  Dan found the two videos he made in 2017 and 2018 of me, Ora, and Elain talking telling stories as we remembered them about when we were growing up at Pleasant Hill in Tallapoosa, Haralson County, GA.  Dan is scheduled for oral surgery on his teeth this week.  When he gets over the surgery I will try and get Michael to put the videos on the Cloud and exit them.   I talked to Dan Guinn.  He has an appointment with the Polk County Tax Accessor to get the Cason Road Health Care Facility reclassified down from a skilled nursing home to basic health care non-licensed facility.  16 Jan 2022, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM - Sacrament and Sunday School, Lehi 7th Ward 1:00 PM - Lunch Michael came by with Blake and a young man about  Blake and Alex's age, named Drew Furgeson.  His dad and mom are Kelly and Mandy.  They lived in the duplex next to Michael and Autumn in the house/duplex we owned on Briar Ave. and Cherry Ln. in Provo a couple blocks from Brigham Young University's J. Ruben Clark Law School.  They named their daughter, Autumn.  Michael said they did not think they would ever see them again after they left BYU.  Now they are in the same ward in San Clemente.  I talked to them later when they were on the road near Cedar City, UT.  I talked to Matthew; I called and talked to Beth and Maggie; and I called and talked to Rae Lynn.  I talked to Max Kimball today about our plans later this week, flight, and him picking me up at the Birmingham Airport.  Our hotel in Jackson, Miss...

 15 Jan 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task I mailed pillowcase to Rae Lynn for Ethan Luke Owen Brody and Weston to sign for Andrew. I also sent a note asking Rae Lynn to get the boys to sign Owen's and bring it with her to Andrews baptism for his cousins to sign and write on.  Debbie dropped me off at the post office and she went shopping.  I walked to the Legacy center to exercise and when Debbie finished she picked me up.  We came home and had brunch. I purchased airline tickets Feb 10 - 14, for Debbie and me to attend Andrew's baptism on Feb. 12th I received the names of all of Peggy's children, grandchildren, spouses etc. from her daughter, Tanja.  I sent Max Kimball a copy 7:00 PM - Alex Gourley, performed at the Grand Festival Concert at the Abravanel Hall in SLC with the Utah All-State Philharmonic Orchestra

14 Jan 2022, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task I talked to Tanja and texted Dell/Thakla about their mother's, Peggy Holmes', funeral.  I talked to Max Kimball and we will be attending the funeral on Jan. 22 in Mississippi.  I bought a round-trip ticket from Salt Lake City to Birmingham.  Max will pick me up at the BHM Airport on Thursday around noon and drop me off Sunday on his way back home.

 13 Jan 2022, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task Take donations in the back of Outback to Deseret Industries in American Fork, UT Debbie and I had prayer and read this morning.  I went to the Legacy Center and exercised; then to Deseret Industries and donated Christmas decorations etc. Debbie and I studied scriptures, this week's  Come Follow Me lesson in Geneses and Moses. I went to the Legacy Center and exercised.   We had prayer, and I messaged Debbie's back and legs before going to bed.  Debbie has an appointment for an MRI next Thursday at 7 AM. Dell Holmes texed me that her Mother, Peggy Holmes, has passed away and her funeral will be next Saturday, January 22nd at the Madison Ward Building; visitation 12 noon to 2 PM and the funeral from 2 to 3 PM.  The family wants Max and I to speak at the service.

(I sent Baylen a happy birthday text message) Debbie and I had prayer and studied scriptures in Geneses and Moses.  I went to the Legacy Center to exercise; came home and we had brunch.   We put up Christmas decorations in the garage and took down January/winter decorations.  I read some.

3 Jan 2022, Monday Priorit ized Daily Task When I woke this morning I had text messages from Debbie, Beth, and Rae Lynn.  They all arrived safely, Debbie to her mother's in Shelly, and Beth and Rae Lynn and Brett all got home with their children. Take recycle and trash to street for city pickup Change HOA Courtyard cove to $65.00 automatic pay each month Call Polk County property tax office in Cedartown to get the accessor to change valuation of Cason Road Health.  I talked to the girl in the Accessor's office and another in the Tax Commissioner's office.  I have to fill our a form and file it to have the taxes assessed on the facility from a nursing home to a health care facility. Debbie called this morning.  Jalna, her mother, is taking more of the medication than what the doctor prescribed.  Her pain is getting worst and her body is adjusting to the pain medication so it takes more to give her the relief as it did when she first started.  Mail ...

 8 Jan 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task This morning I called and talked to Debbie at Jalna's, her mother's.  Debbie and Karlene have not decided on a lock pill dispenser for their mother.  I also talked to Matthew after brunch.  I encouraged him to have someone working for him to call and talk to each nursing home or user of his software after the first month.  Ask about the user of the software and their family; ask how the software has made their work easier and what they like best about software.  Make a call again in 3 months and again in 6 months.  After the first year, call again at least once a year.  Do not ask for referrals so there never think you have an alternative motive for calling them.  7 Jan 2022, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call for time to have Christmas lights taken down and stored until next year and putting their contact information in the black box that is stored in the garage.  I pick up Debbie's thyroid medicine at Costco Pharmacy Work on getting form completed to get the tax assessor in Polk County to reassess the Cason Road Health Care Facility as a non-licensed long term care nursing home and send to Dan Guinn before sending back to Amanda Lindsey, Tax Commissioner.  I signed, scanned, and emailed to Tracy Dickerson, Forester Consultant, the Report of Timber Sale or Harvest with the McAlpin Family Trust IRS tax ID number 87-4226108.  I called and talked to him; his check for $2,014.13 has been mailed and will be there in 5 business days.  2 Jan 2022, Sunday Prioritized Daily Task I did not eat dinner in preparation for fast Sunday today.  I had a good night sleep.  I was afraid I had over done it yesterday and would be more sick with a chest cold and coughing last night.  Ryan, Stepahanie and the children are up and everyone is getting ready for church at 10:30 AM.  We attended sacrament meeting and Debbie and I shared our testimonies with the ward; Bishop Yates conducted. The Knutsons took care of church services this Sunday at the Abbington Memory Center.  Debbie and I will handle it next Sunday, January 9th.  The family came over, Tony, Jody, and their children including Aspen, George, Laura, and their children including Samantha and Tyler, Patt, Anndalyn, their children and Lynden, Anndalyn's; everyone except Jared, Jami and their children, came over for brunch.  I called and talked to Beth and her children who had got as far as St. George,  Rae Lynn, Brett, and their boy...

 1 Jan 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task 10 AM - tubbing at Soldier Hollow near Midway I woke up a little after 7 AM.  Debbie was up and had texted Pat, Jodi, Laura, Jared, and Laura and their families about going to Soldier Hollow for our tubing reservations for 35 adults and children.  No one wanted to go.  I had called Matthew, Beth, Rae Lynn on the way home last nigh or this morning when Debbie and I were on our way home from the birthday and new years party.  They was no answer; I called and texted again about 8 AM this morning.  Matthew called me when he got up.  I was on my way to Heber.  He said everyone at the cabin wanted to go tubing.  I stopped and got a couple of bacon, cheese, and egg sandwiches.  I ate one and shared the other with Madeline, Maggie, and Brody later.  Rae Lynn, Brett and the children who rode with her were the first to arrive.  I met them in the lobby next to the fireplace.  Beth ca...
