 30 Jun 2021, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Tasks Prayer with Debbie; Richard Clark came by the house about 7 AM.  We ate breakfast, packed sandwiches, water, etc.  About 8:30 AM and got to Glacier Lake about 3 PM.  We hike up the mountain to a dell just before arriving a Glacier Lake.  We had just started up Mt. Timpanogos trail when we met Noah Valentine and his girlfriend Emma.  Noah was a full-time missionary in the Adriatic North Mission and served in Novi Sad while we were there.  He recognized me immediately.  Richard and I hiked up to Glacier Lake.  The hike took us 6 hours.  The hike down was 1 hr. and 15 minutes to the waterfall we walked behind; 1 hour and 30 minutes to the rock slide; 2 hours down to the pine tree grove; 3 hours to the first waterfall on the way up the trail and 3 hours and 30 minutes to the parking lot and the Land Rover.  We met lots of nice people.  Richard lost his cell phone and a coup...

 29 Jun 2021, Tuesday Priorit ized Daily Tasks  Matthew's appointment with the specialist from the Mammogram and MRI was taken yesterday.  He called me while I was hiking on the "Y" Mountain in Provo.  The mass in his chest is caused by the growth in the *Pituitary  Gland located in the brain.  It is about the size of a pea and the doctors do not think it is malignant.  They are going to treat it with medication starting in two weeks.  They think it can be controlled or even reduced.   This took a lot of stress and anxiety off him.  I told him I would suggest the first thing he and Melody do is think the Lord for blessing you so wonderfully. I climbed up the "Y" three-time today.  My Fitbit recorded that I walked 10.5 miles in 6 hours.  I think it was more like 6.6 miles.  Just as I got home Richard Clark called and said his foot is much better and wants to hike Mt. 28 Jun 2021, Monday  Priorit ized Daily Tasks 8:30 AM -  Matthew Mammogram appointment, Dr. Judy 11:30 AM - MRI appointment, Dr. Cho 7:30 PM -  Clog American at Orchard at Univ. Place in Orem part of 4th celebration Debbie was up early this morning and we had prayer together, listened to some Come Follow Me with Jarel  Halverson , D&C 74.  Debbie went back to bed.  She is not feeling well.  I think she has pleurisy because it hurts to breathe deep.  I went to the Legacy Center and exercised.  I saw and take to Carios Torres an old friend I met sometime back and had not seen in some time.  I called and talked to Ora, my sister, while I was walking. I texted Matt during his Mammogram appointment.  Later I went grocery shopping and used the $10 Walmart gift card I received from the Health Insurance Company.  27 Jun 2021, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Tasks I got up at 6:30 AM, had prayer, showered, and shaved Fasting this day for Matthew's health, he has a mammogram and MRI on Tuesday and meets with a specialist on Wednesday 9 AM - Sacrament meeting and church services 11:30 AM we came home.  I took a short nap and wrote Sister Alexandra McAlpin about serving from President Henry B. Eyring's talk at April's General Conference.  Debbie and I listened to D&C 71-75: Beyond Come Follow Me with Tom Pettit and then listened to sections 71, 72, and 73 with  Jared Halverson.  Brother Halverson just finished and received his doctorate degree in theology from Vanderbilt Univ.   His thises was on Thomas Payne and his writings against religions, specifically Christianity.  I called and talked to Matthew; he has his Mammogram and MRI on Monday and meets with a specialist on Tuesday before he leaves for CO.  I talked to Michael and he had just landed in ...

 26 Jun 2021, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Tasks Debbie and I were up about 6 AM, had prayer and drove to Wines Park, and set up chairs and blankets for the parade that starts at 10 AM.  The city was serving, ham, eggs, pancakes, juice, and milk for $5 each.  We ate breakfast and drove to Walmart for water, soft drinks, candy, and ice for the grandchildren later during the day.  Later after the parade, we took them to In-n-Out for a more substantial lunch.  Pat and Anndalyn picked Braddock and Ocie up on their way to the lake.  Debbie took the children back to Wines Park and Jami picked Max up and Debbie took Clara and Allison home. 10 AM - 5 PM-  Wines park family day with grandchildren,  some of the grandchildren, Clara, Allison Gourley, Max Hobbs, Braddock, and Ocie went with us to the Grand Parade in Lehi.  They had many of the high schools in the area participating, military, fire and police participating, and private businesses....

 25 Jun 2021, Friday Priorit ized Daily Tasks Called and talked to Beth this morning.  I could not get Michael, Matthew, or Rae Lynn; I left a voice mail for them. I paid Liberty Mutual Auto Insurance bill  $1,366.00  2022 for policy on the Outback Subaru  Policy #:   AOS-261-475167-40,   Capital One Visa card We got a nice thank you text from Bracken, Karlene's son-in-law, for helping put up the wall covering over the insulation in the barn/shead.  Karlene also thanked us.  Bracken came by to get his two young daughters when he got off from work and helped.  His wife Katie was with their boys at the golf course.  They have a tournament the next day at the golf course.  She took them to play so they would be familiar with the course.  24 Jun 2021, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Tasks Brett and Rae Lynn's 15th anniversary  Up at 5:30+ AM  7 AM - 10 AM drive to Shelly to help Debbie and Karlene put siding up over the insulation in her and Joe L's storage barn. 1:30 PM - work on indexing 2 PM -  Debbie appointment in Shelly with Gerald Hobbs, Karlene, and Reed  Ashley, Tanner Traveller's wife, came over with their twin babies.  She brought Nicki, age 5, and Betsy, age 3, Katie's daughters she is watching while Katie is with her boys who have a golf tournament tomorrow.  Later their dad came by to pick the girls up and helped Debbie and me with putting up the last of the siding in the barn. 5:30 PM - finish putting the wall covering over the insulation in the barn/shed Karlene had purchased except for two 4'X8' pieces.  We covered about 36 feet on two sides behind the basketball goals.  22 Jun 2021, Tuesday Priorit ized Daily Tasks  Prayer and  listened to part of  D&C 68, Come Follow Me with Jared Halverson before Debbie has to leave for her mammogram appointment.  Thoughts from D&C 68:12 This comment by Bruce R. McConkie was not in Jared presentation today.  It is my thought on sealed up to eternal life -( McConkie, those who have their  calling and election made sure  "receive the more  sure  word of prophecy, which means that the Lord seals their exaltation upon them while they are yet in this life.)  D&C 68:29 and Secton 69, "Observe the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy 'that the Sabbath Day might keep you and your family Holy'".  The second thought, 'don't be a weak link in your ancestoral chain'. 9:30 AM - Debbie's mammogram appointment (the mobile clinic was not at the location today - she will have to reschedule) 11:30 AM - Take Autrey to lunch to celebrate his 11th birthday tomorrow....

 20 Jun 2021, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Tasks  Father's Day - Sent father's day text greeting to my sons and Uncle Dan - I got happy father's day greetings back 9 AM - Church, Debbie spoke on fathers  We got home and Beth called and wished me a happy father's day with the children.  Later Rae Lynn, Matthew and Michael called and wished me a happy father's day.  Autumn sent me a picture of Michael and the children taken in Athens, Greece while Debbie and I were in Serbia on our mission. 5:30 PM - Patrick, Anndalyn, Camdon, Ellie, Audrey, Braddock, Ocie, and Grandma Lynndan, Anndalyn mother came over.  Debbie prepared a nice father's day meal and I grilled stakes.   Debbie and I listened to the rest of  D&C 64-66, Come Follow Me with Jared Halverson before having prayer together and going to bed.   Blake, Michael, Gavin, Alex and Gracey in Athans, Greece about 2016

 19 Jun 2021, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Tasks  Had prayer with Debbie and took some water with hydration multiplier, and a sandwich with me to Provo Mt. where the "Y" is painted.  I parked the car and started hiking at  9:15 AM. It took me 57 minutes to reach the top of the "Y".  I hiked back down and started up again at 10:43 AM.  I set on a bench and rested before hiking back down at 12:13 PM.  It has been a little hot, 90+ degrees F.                                                                                       The two rounds up to the "Y" took about as much out of me as did the hiking up 6 times back in  I drove to Costco in Lehi and filled the Land Rover with gas.  I went to the Legacy Center and did some up...

 18 Jun 2021, Friday Priorit ized Daily Tasks  Debbie and I laid tile for the back-splash behind the sink installed downstairs.  We bought the tile, adhesive grout, and other supplies at home Depot last night and this morning we rented a tile saw; cut, and laid tile.  We returned the tile saw to Home Depot.   We reviewed and planned events on our calendars up to Aug. 25 when we leave for Serbia.

 17 Jun 2021, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Tasks  9:00 AM - the Pottery Barn replacement couch in the family room was delivered by Issac and another delivery man - they did not pick up the old couch.  I pulled the car out of the garage and the old couch is stored there.  15 Jun 2021, Tuesday Priorit ized Daily Tasks   I was up at 5:30 AM, had prayer, showered, shaved, and ate breakfast.  I finished packing, stripped the bed, and took the linen and towels to the laundry room. At 7:30 AM Matt took me to the airport. 10:08 AM Depart San Diego Delta Flt 1364, arrive in SLC 1:06 PM - After I checked in and got to the gate I received a text my flight had been delayed due to mechanical problems.  We finally departed San Diego about 11:20 AM and arrived in SLC at about 2:00 PM.  Debbie picked me up, we came home and I checked the grass in the yard.  The grub poison has not worked.  I called the Lawn Doctor and left a message for them to call me back.  13 Jun 2021, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Tasks   I had prayer with Debbie before she left for church at 9 AM MST.  I showered and ate breakfast.  Everyone got ready for church and drove over.   10:30 AM PST Vickie  met us at church.  After sacrament meeting, I went to primary with Madeline and Bella.  Matthew came in and I went to priesthood meeting.  I picked up some inspiration from the class and instructions.  A) If you need a miracle in your life, ask the Lord for the blessing you want.  B) The elders' quorum instructor following the counsel of the stake president and high council to teach the brothers to give family priesthood blessings; look for opportunities to give blessing to your family.
