Debbie cooked a nice Memorial Day meal and we took a plate over to Jalna before leaving at 5 PM. I drove and Debbie read on our way back home to Lehi, UT.  The book was loaned to us by Reed Se...

28 May 2021, Friday Priorit ized Daily Tasks   Debbie and I listened to the podcast, Sunday on Monday, D&C 58-59, Come Follow Me lesson.  Notes I picked up from it was the meaning of the word "enthusiasm" literally means "God within".                                        People of the world tell you that you are not good enough or you are no good.  Don't drink their Kool-Aid (don't buy-in on their propaganda).       No one is to go through this life without making mistakes.  It does not matter what the world says about you; it is what you and the Lord know that makes all the difference.  We make mistakes, we repent.   Joseph Smith made the mistake of letting Martin Harris take the 116 pages of the recently translated gold plates.  They were lost but Joseph Smith repented.  The Lord forgave him but still...

Alma 10:15 Now these lawyers were learned in all the arts and cunning of the people; and this was to enable them that they might be skilful in their profession.  16 And it came to pass that they began to question Amulek, (a man of God) that thereby they might make him cross his words, or contradict the words which he should speak. 31 And there was one among them whose name was Zeezrom. Now he was the foremost to accuse Amulek and Alma, he...

The first verse of the poem speaks about six men of Indostan To learning much inclined,  Who went to see the Elephant (Though all of them were blind),  That each by observation Might satisfy his mind. In the poem each of the six travelers takes hold of a different part of the elephant and then describes to the others what he has discovered...

A quote I picked up from the podcast "In a growth zone there is very little comfort - In a comfort zone there is very little growth.  “There is little growth in the comfort zone and little comfort in the growth zone.  This applies to the physical, mental, and epically the spiritual times of our lives."   We have times when the mist of darkness engulfs our lives and we cannot see our hand in front of our eyes.  There is literally no light.  The Lord leaves us in darkness until we are almost overwhelmed by the darkness.  Then when we see the light it is obvious the light is from Him.  There is no way we can forget this experience and in the future, we can step back and remember this time. ...
