I talk with Debbie in the morning and evenings and we have prayer together
I went with Max to deliver a card with a nice note inside from him and Debbie and a box of candy to the daughter of Max's personal financial advisor that lives in Cedartown, GA. She stood up in class, saluted, and said the pledge of allegiance as the flag was in the classroom. Many of the students in her middle school jeered, booed, and made fun of her.
1 PM - Dan Guinn brought lunch over to the house for Max, Debbie and me. We had a good meeting. Dan is interested in leasing the old Cason Road Cedartown Nursing Home Building when it is vacated. His idea is to continue to use the building to care for the old, sick, and or needy. He wants the number of rooms, bathrooms, the cost of property tax, and earthquake insurance. I got all of the information from Andy Morris except for the cost of insurance. The insurance he pays for property is mixed in with worker compensation insurance. There are a total of 42 rooms, 21 shared bathrooms; 4 private rooms, 18 semi-private rooms, 4 three-bed wards, and 16 four-bed wards. The property tax in 2020 was $10, 025.
Max and I talked to Dell Holmes and learned nothing has been done for a grave marker for Seeb Holmes who did much for us and many others without any fanfare or others knowing.
Max and I talked to Peggy Holmes, Seeb's widow, who is 91 years old. We are going to face-time her tomorrow at 4:30 PM CST. Max and I are going to purchase a grave marker for both Seeb and Peggy when she passes.
I sent Dan Guinn copies of supporting income and expenses for Debbie and my 2020 federal and state tax returns for 2020.
I stayed up and read Understanding Unlicensed Care Homes: Final Report from U.S. Department of Health and Human Service Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation Office of Disability, Aging and Long-Term Care Policy.
