Prioritized Daily Tasks

Jack Hobb's 4th birthday - sent him a text happy birthday wish to him using his mom's and dad's email addresses.

I cooked eggs for the children with toast and bacon.  The only one that did not eat eggs was Eaton.  He had two slices of white toast with butter, sugar, and cinnamon, and an orange.

Ethan has school from 7:30 AM to 12:50 PM (he has a ride)

I took Weston with me and we took Luke, Owen, and Brody and dropped them off at school at 8:20.  We picked them up again at 10:50 AM.

Brody does 4 to 5 pages in math and reading (stay with him to make sure he does it and help if he needs it)

Weston did not go down for his nap at 12 noon today.  Rae Lynn texted me and said not to bring all the children to the airport to pick her and Brett up.  There is not room in the van for everyone.

I take Ethan to tennis at Alta Sierra at 2:00 PM for volleyball.  On the way, he asked about the Spanish Inquisition.  The question led to why so much persecution of the Jews by so many nations and people since the time of the Romans.  We talked about to whom much is given much is expected by the Lord.  We, as members of Christ Church, have made convents with the Lord as did the Jews and Israelites.  Each Sunday as we partake of the sacrament we renew our promises to keep God's commandments and take upon ourselves the name of Christ.  The Lord does not break his part of the covenant.  He always keeps his promises to us if we keep our promises.  I compared us as members of Christ's church to a bride who takes upon herself the name of her husband when she gets married.  The Lord loves the Church (us) his bride.  It breaks his heart when we are not faithful.  I told him the story of Hosah and Gomer, the woman he was commanded to marry.  How she was unfaithful and ran off with other men.  Then how she became a slave and Hosah bought her in the slave market.  He paid for her and she was his.  Christ paid for His bride, His church, with his blood over 2,000 years ago.  That is why the Jews have been hated and persecuted over the centuries and we can expect no less if we are unfaithful to the Lord.    I took Owen, Brody, and Weston with me to bring Ethan home at 4:15 PM

Luke has basketball from 3:15 to 4:15 PM (he has a ride).  Luke got home as we were driving in the garage.

Owen has baseball practice at 4:30 PM, Jen is giving him a ride.  He found his baseball bag

Ethan, Luke, Brody, and Weston who is still up, cleaned and picked up the house and yard.  I took the dog for a walk while they cleaned.

Mutual from 7 to 8:30 PM was canceled this week for Ethan and Luke.

Before going to the airport I went to Save Mor grocery store and picked up a gallon of Neapolitan ice cream.  I got home and the children had the house clean.  I told them they could eat ice cream and party until I got back with their Mom and Dad.

Rae Lynn and Brett flew back to Fresno from Jamaica.  They had a layover in Dallas, Texas, and got here about 8:50 PM.  I parked in the cell phone parking area until almost 9:30 before they were able to get their bags.  I picked them up and Brett drove home.  The children jumped on them, around their necks, legs, waist, and backs.  They were so excited and happy to see them.  Brett and Rae Lynn showed them pictures and talked.  I had family prayer with them before going into my room and returning Debbie's phone call that came through while I was having prayer with Brett, Rae Lynn and the boys.  Debbie and I talked and had prayer together before going to bed after my personal prayer.  I have been blessed beyond measure.

I talked to Matthew and Melodie today.  They are working on the leases for the new nursing home in Rockmart and a lease for the old nursing home building on Cason Road in Cedartown.  They have not been able to get the information from the Polk County tax offices as to who the owners of the land and building are for the two buildings.   I called a friend, Elbert Angel, who is the county land surveyor.  He gave me the information on the 10.17 acres for the Cottages At Rockmart nursing home at 750 Goodyear Avenue, Rockmart, GA 30153. (The property is titled in Cason Road L.L.C., tax I.D. 060-174A, recorded in Plat Book EE 172 and Deed Book 1666 page 231)  (The nursing home in Cedartown at 148 Cason Road, Cedartown, GA 30125 is on 1.14 acres of land, Tax I.D.  025C136, recorded in Deed Bood 1054 page 267)

Brett and Rea Lynn returned home from their trip to Jamaca
