 Prioritized Daily Tasks.  

Samantha Gourley's  19th birthday - I sent her a happy birthday text wish

6:00 AM up and had prayer with Debbie, showered and told Beth, and Tucker goodbye.  Maggie is still sleeping.  Michael picked me up and we had breakfast at the Grill in San Clemente.  We talked about the nursing homes and 40+ acres in Cleveland, GA.  He said Jimmy Moris, James and Janie's son, is wanting to sell the land in Cleveland and thinks it is only worth about $45,000 an acre.  James Morris, Wayne Abercrombie, and I each owned 1/3 interest in the land, Chulio Nursing Home in Rome, GA and 1/3 interest in Gateway Nursing Home in Cleveland, GA.  I told Michael, James, Wayne and I looked out for each other's interest while they were living and I want to continue to watch out for their families as I think each of them would do if things were turned around. I told Michael to take to Matthew and if he is OK with it to offer an exchange in property of my 1/3 interest in Gateway Nursing Home and 1/3 interest in the 40+ acres in Cleveland GA for each of their, Morris and Abercrombie's, 1/3 interest in Chulio Nursing Home in Rome, GA.  If it is accepted to let Beth and Rae Lynn know.

Autumn met us and took me to the Orange County Airport.  She is picking up 3 of Gracey's friends at the airport and bringing them back to San Clemente.  I checked in and went through security.  I had to pay for one bag that I checked.  It was free on Delta coming out.  There was a delay and I landed in San Francisco in time to catch my flight but it was delayed because of wildfire smoke in Rino.  United found another plane and crew to cover the SLC flight.   My flight arrived at SLC Airport and I got my bag.  I check with United Airlines to get credit for my travel miles for this flight today.  I got the Land Rover out of economy parking, $50, and drove home.  Watered the garden, flowers and plants inside the house.  I fixed dinner, got the mail and cleaned the kitchen.  Debbie called and we had prayer together.  I talked to Beth and ask her to make sure the tolls were paid that I went through the other night when I took the boys to the movie theater to see Snake-Eyes.  I listened to some of D&C Section 84 with Jared Halverson, Come Follow Me instructor.      

****I had an email from Turo this morning, "Umang has sent you a message about their Honda Fit."   Hi James - I'm not sure what happened in my last text, have no clue why I put that number there

I sent them a reply in their secure system: "I canceled the car reservation within hours after the reservation was made; as soon as I realized the pickup point was not at the Atlanta airport.

I called the owner and he said someone from customer service would contact me which never happened. Just take the charge off my credit card. Thanks,

James L. McAlpin"

The owner replied:

Since you haven't cancelled someone else can't rent/register my car either

I replied:

I asked for the phone number of Turo to cancel if you could not cancel. You said you did not have the phone number. The people are in Asia somewhere. You told me you would have someone call me which they never did. I called Visa and told them what was going on. They said they could not do anything until the charge goes through. I have called them and disputed the charge.
