I sent them a replay in their secure system: "I canceled the car reservation within hours after the reservation was made; as soon as I realized the pickup point was not at the Atlanta airport.

I called the owner and he said someone from customer service would contact me which never happened. Just take the charge off my credit card. Thanks, James L. McAlpin"
The owner replied:
Since you haven't cancelled someone else can't rent/register my car either
I replied:
I asked for the phone number of Turo to cancel if you could not cancel. You said you did not have the phone number. The people are in Asia somewhere. You told me you would have someone call me which they never did. I called Visa and told them what was going on. They said they could not do anything until the charge goes through. I have called them and disputed the charge.

I'm sorry you have to deal with all this. Just to clarify, in this thread, I did send you the number to call above (+1 415-965-4525).    You have the ability to cancel straight in the app/website, but since you didn't know how to do that, I suggested you call them and they'll help you sort this out. It's something they do all the time. And they even have live chat available too. But if you don't cancel on the app, and you don't contact them, then obviously it won't be cancelled. 

I keep a daily journal and I can assure you, I tried to call 415-965-4525 and could not council the reservation.  I called you and you answered on Tuesday, 27th July. You told me the people I need to talk to are in Asia and you will have them call me.  Do you not think if I had gone to all this trouble to cancel the car reservation I would not have made the phone call if I had a number to call?  Below is copied from my journal on 27 Jul 2021, Tuesday
I rented a car for Georgia and Florida from July 28th to August 17th for less than $20 a day ($659.73) Turo.  The pick-up is at the owners' home in Atlanta.  I do not get in until about 10 PM.  I decided I did not want to be out hunting someone's residences in Atlanta late at night.  I tried to cancel by calling the owner in San Francisco at 650-267-1500 and Turo Customer Support at  415-965-4525.  I had no success and was told someone from their Asian office would be in touch with me.  I called Citi Bank Visa card and they are noting my conversation but cannot dispute it until the charge goes through in a couple of days.

Dave, the owner of the car called and agreed to pick me up at the airport tomorrow evening and also to drop me off when I return home on Aug 17.

I picked up the mail, watered the garden, washed clothes, towels, etc. and put the sheets on, and made the bed downstairs, weighted my suitcase I have packed to be sure it is not over 50 pounds and had prayer with Debbie before going to bed at 11:30 PM.

The children, Michael, Matthew, Beth, Brett, and Rae Lynn, got together for dinner in Newport Beach tonight.
