Prioritized Daily Task

Rae Lynn Hobb's 39th Birthday

Tucker Davis's 14th  Birthday

Lani lively's 51st Birthday

We sent emails, texts and called those we could reach wishing them a happy birthday

9:00 AM - Debbie and I walked over the bridge from our old apartment and checked on having lunch on Friday at Carda Aqua Doria with a table next to the window looking over the Danube River. phone 065-6-88-296

10:30 AM - We called, walked over to their apartment, our old apartment, and visit with President Larry and Sister Shery Blake (couple assigned to Novi Sad as Branch President). They are headed to Nis in South Serbia to check on a humanitarian project they have there.

1:30 PM - We went by Dr. Dragon Kovacevic's, our former landlord's, office.  He was in and said he tried to get in touch with us but the young missionaries did not have any contact information on us.  We talked about our Viking River Cruise and he told us he and Julijana have been on 3 river cruises in Europe.  They think UniWorld is the best riverboat cruise line.  Today is the first day of his wife, Julijana's, retirement. I invited Dragan, Julijana, and Ivan, age 19, Kovacevic to Novi Sad Branch Conference this Sunday.

2:00 PM - Lunch with Mirko, Ljubica and Bojana

5:00 PM - We met the Sisters and Elders at the church.  They used my phone to call Stjepan and Milica Stojanovic (+381-60-3305-019) in Susek. We invited them to Branch Conference Sunday.  Milica is from Germany and spoke German with Sister the Sister from Cologne. The Sister missionaries rode with us to the edge of Novi Sad, East on Hwy 12 toward Veternik to check on Katinrina Eberhardt' Dragana's mother (phone +381-63-7274-336) to see if we can find Dragana.  Katinrina had moved but some of her family who lives there gave us her phone number.  We called and the Sisters talked to her.  She is meeting us at the church Saturday morning at 11 AM; the Sister missionaries will open the church and be there with us to translate.  She said she would talk to her daughter and if she is off work will also come.

Debbie and Alex McAlpin talked tonight about finding an NGO for Shelby Traveller to do volunteer work with in 2021 or 2022.

We listened to Tom Pettet, Come Follow Me, D&C 121-123.  A quote I picked up from Elder Holland's Lessons Learned From the Liberty Jail is, " Man's extremities are God's opportunities".
