Mirko Jelicic's 76th Birthday - find birthday cards and candles

1:00 PM - 22 Avgusta Bukovac, Novi Sad, visit Emina and her son, Ivan. Debbie and I drove out the street address, 22 Avguista in Burkovac but could not find their apartment because there was no house number and no one on the street we talked to knew them.

Bojana came by the apartment and brought the birthday cake she found and we put it in the refrigerator for this evening. I went by a couple of stores and found a Serbian birthday card and a #3 candle for Mirko, Ljuibica, and Bojana's birthday we are celebrating today. Actually, it is only Mirko's 76th birthday. He was born on this day in 1945.

6:30 PM - Celebrate Mirko's 76th Birthday and Ljubica and Bojana's birthdays at Carda Aqua Doria on the Danube River just below the fortress in Novi Sad. We had fish soup in a black pot and Smud "Perch" for dinner. Debbie had chicken instead of fish for her meal. We road back to our apartment for cake and ice cream. Debbie had a group singing happy birthday in Srpski from her computer on YouTube. We gave them a birthday card and talked until we took them home. We dropped Bojana off the pick up her friend's car. We got home and Laura called. Debbie and I had prayer before going to bed.

A thought and another promise from the Lord for keeping the Sabbath Day holy. It is from Old Testament, Isaiah 56:verse 4: For thus saith, the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; and verse 5: Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
