9:30 AM - Return rental car to Alamo Los Angeles to Salt Lake City – DL 935

 Check on and pay any credit card bills not paid for this month. 

Fill-out W-9 and mail to Tracy Dickerson and another for Dan Guinn.  

I was up before 6 AM.  I had my personal prayer, packed, and ate breakfast.  I told Matthew, Melodie, Madeline, Bella, and Ava goodby.  I stopped and filled the car with gas and drove to Alamo car rental return.  I turned the car in and caught a shuttle to terminal 2; checked my bag with Delta and went through TSA security and arrived at gate 28 about an hour before boarding.I emailed Cindy Griffith a signed and notarized quick claim deed to (Smith estate) property Baxter Turley's children want to sell near Delta, AL

Dear Cindy,

I asked Peggy and Blake to please get you to check and see if Inez McAlpin's, mother's, part of the inherence from the Smith Estate has the same problem with a cloud on the title as Mrs. Cleo Turley's portion has.    I sent the following email to Dorthy:

Dorthy,

It does not matter what your attorney needs, we will sign; we want all of your grandmother, Cleo's, family to have a clear title on the land received by inheritance from our aunts and uncle.  It is good you are getting this taken care of while Ora, Elain, and I are living.  We have so many children, that when we are gone it may be difficult to get documents signed.

It was your dad's attorney that did all the work on your grandmother's family's deeds. We asked Peggy and Blake to check with all Cleo's family and make sure there is no mistake or problem with their deeds.

We do not want to have the same problem if we someday want to sell the land we inherited.  No one is perfect and mistakes are made by attorneys.  I ask you to please check with the other members of your grandmother's family and let them know about the cloud on the deed.

Thank you so much for emailing me a copy of the signed Quit Claim Deed.  Did you mail me the original?  

I am so sorry to have to say that without doing a complete title search there is no way of us knowing if the same problem exists on your property.  We will be glad to help in any way we can, and we greatly appreciate you and your family getting these signed and returned to us.
