Debbie's 70th Birthday

Bowling and then BD party, games etc. at Laura and George's

I got up about 5:30 AM.  Jared had taken his truck that was parked in the drive in front of the garage where we park the Subaru Outback some time in the early morning and gone home leaving Jack and Max to sleep in the couch together.  I drove to car to Macey's grocery store and got some bananas and eggs to last us through Monday.  I also go Debbie a very nice New Years and Birthday decoration and a birthday card.  I came back home and went to bed without waking Debbie.  The grandchildren started waking about 7 AM and Debbie got dressed.  I stopped her before leaving our bedroom.  I gave her the birthday gift, season tickets for two to the Hale Theater that I put under her pillow before she went to bed.  She was so tired last night she did not find them.  I left the birthday card and floral arrangement on the kitchen table for her to find when she goes out of the bedroom.  We had prayer together and she and Ryan cooked something similar to french toast and waffles for breakfast for the children.  Ryan and Stephanie went shopping and later everyone went bowling.  I stayed home and read and slept.   In the late afternoon we loaded the long folding table and six chairs in the back of the Outback and took them over to the Gourley's.  Debbie and I met everyone at George and Laura's for Debbie's 70th birthday and New Year's party.  George, Laura, Samantha went to a friend of George's daughter wedding.  They were late getting to the birthday party but were here before we finished eating.  We exchanged Christmas gifts to the ones whose name we drew before Christmas.  We watched Georgia (ranked 3) and Michigan (ranked 2).  Georgia won 34 to 11.  We took a folding table and 6 folding chairs over to George and Laura's and brought them back with garbage in the back of our Outback.  They do no have room for all the trash from the party.  We watched the new years come in twice and played games before coming home.  We had family prayer with those spending the night with us, Debbie and I had prayer and got to bed about 2 AM, MST.
