Prioritized Daily Task

During Debbie and my studying of D&C 7, 8, and 9this morning I heard the statement, "You lost the opportunity of a life-time because you failed to act during the life-time of the opportunity."

Dale Carnegie said "Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy."

I sent Ernie Brown a text wishing him a happy 74th Birthday he was born Jan 29, 1947 

9 AM - Legacy Center.    

I received a text this morning from Robyn Johnson.  I called and wished her son a happy birthday and left her a message.  She sent me this text:

Text from Robyn Johnson. 
Ohhh myyyy GOODNESS! Did I miss someone’s special birthday?! The favorite niece just became the worst niece ha ha! How thoughtless of me especially when you go above and beyond to remember ALL of our birthdays and reach out! It won’t happen again! 

I was just thinking about you tonight as the beautiful rain comes pouring down here in Burbank. I have such a vivid memory with you when I was a little girl, one that I’m sure you won’t remember and honestly I don’t know why it’s one that stuck with me. It must be because it was so special to me. I had to have been no more than 4 or 5. We were visiting you in Rome. It was a rainy night and we decided to go get food for everyone at McDonald’s. Just you and me. :) I remember you bought me a chocolate shake that I drank on the way home and it was SO delicious to me! I love that memory. It was such a non event really but it obviously meant a great deal to me. 

I wanted to go to McDonald’s tonight on this rare rainy night and get a chocolate shake in honor of you and that special memory. I love you so much and am so thankful for you and the wonderful influence you have always been in my life. I hope we can talk soon! Maybe tomorrow! Happy belated birthday! Love you so much
 Her son Baylen's 18th birthday was on Jan. 12th.  Robyn's birthday will be in 9 days, Feb 7th.  She will be 49.  In my reply I told her it was OK, I still love her.  It runs in the family now with Baylen not answering his phone and not calling back.                                                                                    She will have an opportunity again in 9 days to answer her phone when she turns 29.

 5 Dec 2021, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task  9 AM - Church Lehi 7th Ward (Fast Sunday) 11:25 AM - We attended tithing settlement with bishop Lehi 7th Ward 5 PM - Alex and Riley for dinner. We filled stakes, had baked of a  potato and salad.    At 6 PM  we watched the Frist Presidency Christmas Devotional.   I talked to Matthew and the girls.  I called and talked to Beth, Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew.  Rae Lynn called and we talked to her and Weston.  We called and texted Michael and Autumn.  Michael called back from Georgia.  Autumn set a text; she was at dinner with the other children. Debbie and watched a Christmas movie, had prayer, and went to bed. "Alex", Alexandra McAlpin, gave us a letter she wrote on the back of a picture her friend drew of Jesus touching and helping two women with heavy hearts, on Oct. 26, 2021.  15 Jan 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task I mailed pillowcase to Rae Lynn for Ethan Luke Owen Brody and Weston to sign for Andrew. I also sent a note asking Rae Lynn to get the boys to sign Owen's and bring it with her to Andrews baptism for his cousins to sign and write on.  Debbie dropped me off at the post office and she went shopping.  I walked to the Legacy center to exercise and when Debbie finished she picked me up.  We came home and had brunch. I purchased airline tickets Feb 10 - 14, for Debbie and me to attend Andrew's baptism on Feb. 12th I received the names of all of Peggy's children, grandchildren, spouses etc. from her daughter, Tanja.  I sent Max Kimball a copy 7:00 PM - Alex Gourley, performed at the Grand Festival Concert at the Abravanel Hall in SLC with the Utah All-State Philharmonic Orchestra

 17 Jan 2021, Sunday Prioritized Daily Task 9 AM - Sacrament meeting broadcast to our home Michael and Blake arrive from dropping friends off at the SLC Airport We had the sacrament administered and passed here at our home after we ate brunch.   Debbie hung balloons and Happy Birthday banner - She prepared a huge brunch with angel food cake for dessert to celebrate my 77th birthday Michael got our computers connected to our printer/scanner before leaving.  He and Blake stopped and saw Autumn's younger brother, Dallin, his wife Alyssa McEwin, and their 6 little children all under the age of 4, 3 of them are triples. 5 PM Jared, Jami, Porter, Tate, Max and Jack came over.  Just behind them was George, Laura, Alex, Clara, Allison and Samantha with her boyfriend, Tyler.  We had another birthday party.  Debbie prepared a big meal with a Devilfood Cake.   There were candles on the Angelfood Cake and the Devilfood Cake for me to make a wish and...
