Prioritized Daily Task

Michael McAlpin's 45th Birthday - text and call

Deposit check from Debbie in Region's bank checking account; visited with Maria Maythe Wilson, Branch Manage at Turner McCall and 5th Ave in Rome, GA.  I found out that Regions and Synovis are two different bank groups.

12 Noon - meet Andy Morris at O'Charles for lunch in Rome.  He downloaded a video of a virtual tour of the new nursing home in Rockmart.

Took Elder Hegawald and his companion, Elder Jensen, to lunch to lunch at Chic-fil-A  (elders' mission phone 678-517-2749, for a late lunch.

Called and talked to Shawn Smith.  I made an appointment to have lunch with him and his wife, April, next Monday when he gets off work.

Check on old friends in Rome, Harvy Chapman - He did not answer his phone but texted me the phone number for Elder Ben Hegawald.

3 PM - Rockmart nursing home - Mike Lee the maintenance man gave me a tour.  I met Wisdom who works for PSI Electrical Company.  He and Brian were wiring the doors with electric locks. Another change the fire marshal required.  I took some pictures of the buildings.  There is some more work to be done on the yard and landscaping.  Mike Lee lives in Carrollton and was the maintenance man for the Bremen Nursing Home that Larry Kimball built with Eli Choan and Max operated when I bought the Sandmont Nursing Home in Trenton, Dade County, GA.  Max introduced me to Dr. Ruth Peet, the main owners when I was working for Stoffel Seals Corp.

I drove to Max and Debbie's home in Cedartown.  They, their children, and grandchildren are in Blairsville, GA.  They are celebrating Debbie's birthday now instead of May because they can not all get together then.  I drove over to Dan Lester's, an old friend whose wife passed away a year or so ago.  He lives alone and uses a walking stick to support himself as does Andy Morris, but Dan is in his 80s and Andy is in his 60s.  I had prayer with Dan before leaving tonight and I had a prayer with Andy when blessing the food at lunch.  I called and talked to Debbie.  She was taking grandchildren home from a Day With Grandma.  Jody is walking the trail to Ensign Peak tonight to get ready for the trip with the young women in her stake in Twin Falls.

I tried to call Tucker but could not reach him.  I sent him a text wishing him good success in his marathon, 26.2-miles race, this weekend and let him know I am pleased and impressed with him.  He is only 13 years old.  I called and talked to Beth and asks her to send me pictures.
