Prioritized Daily Tasks

Kate Johnson's 16th Birthday - called, got her answering machine and left her a happy birthday message from everyone, Ora, Dan, Debbie and me.

8 PM, CST - ANM Reunion SLC, Zoom with President Grant and President Melonakos

Write James and Tena Daves a letter wishing Tena a 79th Happy Birthday

Email Chase Garcia, a young man, Debbie and I met in Serbia that was arrested and sent back to the US for jumping bail.  We have not heard from him, his parents, or his old bishop in some time.

Debbie and I went for a walk for an hour or so through the neighborhood and took some pictures of some of the flowers and one "A" frame home that her mother, Jalna, at onetime want to build.

Email to James and Tena Daves:  Dear James and Tena,   I have been trying to call you guys for the last 3 days.  If I am not mistaken it is someone’s 79th birthday.                                                        This letter will have to suffice for both of your happy birthdays.  I hope you two are doing great and your health improving.  You and Tena are very special to me and have been since we met.  Life goes by so fast and it seems to be picking up speed.  What used to be months now seems like weeks. 

We are doing good.  Debbie’s foot and ankle she busted when she fell off her mother’s house still bothers her but not so much as to stop us from doing things with the children and grandchildren.  I don’t know if you remember my sister Ora.  She and her husband Dan has moved to Florida.  Dan has been taking care of her for years with love and patience, much like you James.

This life is so short and the eternities are forever.  Please stay true to those promises and covenants you made with each other and the Lord.  I owe much to you guys and hope I can in some way be a blessing in your lives as you have been in mine.

 5 Dec 2021, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task  9 AM - Church Lehi 7th Ward (Fast Sunday) 11:25 AM - We attended tithing settlement with bishop Lehi 7th Ward 5 PM - Alex and Riley for dinner. We filled stakes, had baked of a  potato and salad.    At 6 PM  we watched the Frist Presidency Christmas Devotional.   I talked to Matthew and the girls.  I called and talked to Beth, Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew.  Rae Lynn called and we talked to her and Weston.  We called and texted Michael and Autumn.  Michael called back from Georgia.  Autumn set a text; she was at dinner with the other children. Debbie and watched a Christmas movie, had prayer, and went to bed. "Alex", Alexandra McAlpin, gave us a letter she wrote on the back of a picture her friend drew of Jesus touching and helping two women with heavy hearts, on Oct. 26, 2021.  15 Jan 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task I mailed pillowcase to Rae Lynn for Ethan Luke Owen Brody and Weston to sign for Andrew. I also sent a note asking Rae Lynn to get the boys to sign Owen's and bring it with her to Andrews baptism for his cousins to sign and write on.  Debbie dropped me off at the post office and she went shopping.  I walked to the Legacy center to exercise and when Debbie finished she picked me up.  We came home and had brunch. I purchased airline tickets Feb 10 - 14, for Debbie and me to attend Andrew's baptism on Feb. 12th I received the names of all of Peggy's children, grandchildren, spouses etc. from her daughter, Tanja.  I sent Max Kimball a copy 7:00 PM - Alex Gourley, performed at the Grand Festival Concert at the Abravanel Hall in SLC with the Utah All-State Philharmonic Orchestra

 17 Jan 2021, Sunday Prioritized Daily Task 9 AM - Sacrament meeting broadcast to our home Michael and Blake arrive from dropping friends off at the SLC Airport We had the sacrament administered and passed here at our home after we ate brunch.   Debbie hung balloons and Happy Birthday banner - She prepared a huge brunch with angel food cake for dessert to celebrate my 77th birthday Michael got our computers connected to our printer/scanner before leaving.  He and Blake stopped and saw Autumn's younger brother, Dallin, his wife Alyssa McEwin, and their 6 little children all under the age of 4, 3 of them are triples. 5 PM Jared, Jami, Porter, Tate, Max and Jack came over.  Just behind them was George, Laura, Alex, Clara, Allison and Samantha with her boyfriend, Tyler.  We had another birthday party.  Debbie prepared a big meal with a Devilfood Cake.   There were candles on the Angelfood Cake and the Devilfood Cake for me to make a wish and...
