Prioritized Daily Tasks

Abby Hobb's 14th birthday - I called and wished her a happy birthday

Max, Debbie, and family return from Blairsville, GA

9 AM Walked and jogged around Max and Debbie's neighborhood for about 30 minutes

Talked to Jessie Thompson, Forester, who is taking care of 57 acres of timber of mine and Ora's - having lunch with him on Wednesday in Rockmart

I called and talked to Marc Wall.  He is not up for company but is doing much better and thinks he will be able to go back to work some at the office in April.  He is working from home as an expert witness for the court.  He has attorneys or clients in Atlanta and Tallahassee.

Prayer with Debbie back home

I called and canceled my American Express cards, 3723-771017-27002, and the other ending 27008.  I spoke with Lisa and she canceled them today.  One of these cards Matthew has been using in his business since about 2010.  He has another card he is using for his business now and asked me to cancel it, since I set the card up he cannot cancel it.

5 PM - Visit with Floyd and Lila Farless at their home in Coosa

7 PM - Dinner with Shawn and April Smith at Chile's in Rome.  Their son Bristol is in prison.  He has never been in trouble before and was accused of hitting and running over a policeman that was fired from two cities where he had worked for accusing the state patrol falsely and planting evidence and someone he arrested.  Shawn said the x-policeman hit Bristol who had just turned 18 two weeks before in the side of the face and tried to pull him out of Bristol's vehicle and he drove off and went directly home to tell his dad, Shawn, what happened.  Shawn went with Bristol back over and the police were there and arrested Bristol and did not take his story or ask him what happened.  They only talked to the x-policeman and filed his statement.  There was a lot of contention and built up anger in Shawn and also his wife, April, because of the incident and the way the court handled it.  Their attorney assured them, the most Bristol would get would be parol. But their attorney left the court room before the sentence was handed down.  They have another attorney who is more component and are trying to get Bristol out and his record sponged.                                                 Shawn bought dinner; he would not let me pay.  When Bristol was young I took him with his dad, Shawn, with the Rome Ward on a Father and Son campout as I had Shawn with Michael and Matthew.
