Prioritized Daily Tasks

Sent JC Davis a text wishing him a happy birthday.

11 AM, CST - 191st Sunday Morning session of General Conference. "The only way to take sorrow out of death is by taking love out of life" a quote by the 2nd counselor in Relief Society General Presidency.  Children and mothers in groups from around the world were broadcast, sang "I Am A Child Of God".   Many of the speakers were from around the world spoke in conferences, some live and others recorded earlier and broadcast today.  A thought I recorded, "don't underestimate the power of your influence in the lives of others."                                                                                    President Russell M. Nelson was the concluding speaker in this session and the focus of all the speakers today have been on Jesus Christ and His resurrection.  Every pronounced blessing in our lives begins with faith in Jesus Christ.  President Nelson gave 5 steps in developing faith:                1.  Study, 2. Choose to believe in Jesus Christ, 3. Act in faith, 4. Partake of sacred ordinances and 5. Ask in the name of Jesus Christ for help.  We can move mountains in our lives.

1:30 PM CST - we, Ora, Dan, Susan, Debbie, and I face-timed Rae Lynn, Brett, Ethan, Luke, Owen, Brody, and Westin, they were out at their new pool after General Conference before we at Easter dinner Debbie prepared.

2 PM CST - we face-time Beth and her children, Tucker, Maggie, and Drew.  They were in the SUV on the way to Matthew, Melodie, and the girls

3 PM CST - 191st Annual General Conference afternoon session - Elder David A. Bednar and President Russel M. Nelson was the concluding speaker.  The ground has been broken this past year for 21 temples and 20 more were announced.  I can see the time very soon that Debbie and I will be working in the temples.

5:30 PM CST - Matt face-time family

Autumn, Blake, Gracey, Michael, and Gavin are in Dubai and it is 6 PM CST and 2 AM there.

About 6:30 PM Amy, Scott, Daniel "Danny", Patrick, and Gracey came over.

Later Debbie and I had prayer with Dan, Ora, Susan.  We got to bed about 10 PM but the children were texting each other and it was going on at 11 PM.  I asked Debbie to turn her phone off.  Mine was silenced but the light would light up each time a text message came through.  I turned it over and put a pillow over it. (I checked the text messages from the family thread and there were over 400 messages.)

 5 Dec 2021, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task  9 AM - Church Lehi 7th Ward (Fast Sunday) 11:25 AM - We attended tithing settlement with bishop Lehi 7th Ward 5 PM - Alex and Riley for dinner. We filled stakes, had baked of a  potato and salad.    At 6 PM  we watched the Frist Presidency Christmas Devotional.   I talked to Matthew and the girls.  I called and talked to Beth, Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew.  Rae Lynn called and we talked to her and Weston.  We called and texted Michael and Autumn.  Michael called back from Georgia.  Autumn set a text; she was at dinner with the other children. Debbie and watched a Christmas movie, had prayer, and went to bed. "Alex", Alexandra McAlpin, gave us a letter she wrote on the back of a picture her friend drew of Jesus touching and helping two women with heavy hearts, on Oct. 26, 2021.  15 Jan 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task I mailed pillowcase to Rae Lynn for Ethan Luke Owen Brody and Weston to sign for Andrew. I also sent a note asking Rae Lynn to get the boys to sign Owen's and bring it with her to Andrews baptism for his cousins to sign and write on.  Debbie dropped me off at the post office and she went shopping.  I walked to the Legacy center to exercise and when Debbie finished she picked me up.  We came home and had brunch. I purchased airline tickets Feb 10 - 14, for Debbie and me to attend Andrew's baptism on Feb. 12th I received the names of all of Peggy's children, grandchildren, spouses etc. from her daughter, Tanja.  I sent Max Kimball a copy 7:00 PM - Alex Gourley, performed at the Grand Festival Concert at the Abravanel Hall in SLC with the Utah All-State Philharmonic Orchestra

 17 Jan 2021, Sunday Prioritized Daily Task 9 AM - Sacrament meeting broadcast to our home Michael and Blake arrive from dropping friends off at the SLC Airport We had the sacrament administered and passed here at our home after we ate brunch.   Debbie hung balloons and Happy Birthday banner - She prepared a huge brunch with angel food cake for dessert to celebrate my 77th birthday Michael got our computers connected to our printer/scanner before leaving.  He and Blake stopped and saw Autumn's younger brother, Dallin, his wife Alyssa McEwin, and their 6 little children all under the age of 4, 3 of them are triples. 5 PM Jared, Jami, Porter, Tate, Max and Jack came over.  Just behind them was George, Laura, Alex, Clara, Allison and Samantha with her boyfriend, Tyler.  We had another birthday party.  Debbie prepared a big meal with a Devilfood Cake.   There were candles on the Angelfood Cake and the Devilfood Cake for me to make a wish and...
