Prioritized Daily Tasks

Called and talked to Debbie.  She was exhausted and sore from working at her mother's home yesterday.

9 AM attended Sacrament meeting.  Chaz and Carrie Hales children, Cara, Emily, Charlie, Henry, and Suzanne, came and sat with me while their dad, Chaz, conducted the music for the ward. Emily played with my cell phone taking pictures Suzanne set with her mother during most of the meeting.  The other left just before the sacrament was passed.  I brought the bag of silent toys Debbie put together for the small children.

11 AM attend Sunday school on zoom meeting taught by Valerie Ackley.

About 1 PM I drove up to the cabin in Heber.  Gavin slept until after lunch then got in the whirlpool tub/shower.  Matthew and Beth called.  I did not get Rae Lynn but will talk and see her later this week.  Gavin did his homework for school while Michael and I watched a couple of episodes of the Chosen.  Later we had prayer together; Michael led us and remembered to ask Heavenly Father to continue to bless Mike Coultas in his recovery from heart surgery.  Mike and Bruce Stansell were his scout leaders when we lived in Rome, Georgia.  I called Debbie and when she finished watching the Chosen with her mother, she called and we had prayer together.  I had my personal prayer before going to bed.

Susan Truitt Robinson, Ora and Dan's daughter, sent me a picture of a letter Lora Lynn Lively sent her grandmother, Inez McAlpin, "Grannybug" on the 18th of November 1976 when Lora Lynn was 10 years old. She sent it from Powder Springs, Georgia to Inez McAlpiin, Route 2, Tallapoosa, GA 30176.

Dear Granny,
I'm sorry that I didn't mail my multiplication table.  I've been studing hard at school.  We're all doing fine, but since I didn't mail those multiplication tables here they are.
I love you and Grandaddy and Uncle Lawerence

Susan wrote, "'This must have been in some of Granny's personal belongings.  Can you imagine just walking away from all your earthly belongings and going to live with your kids?  This letter must've been really special to her since she took very little.  What a treasure!
I know when Mom, "Granny Bug" stayed with us, the children would hide from her to keep from doing their homework.  She could not go down the steps in our home so she would walk around the house to the entrance from the outside to the lower level of our home.

I called the children but did not get anyone.  Matthew called me back.  Madeline and Bella spent the night with Maggie in San Clemente last night.
