Prioritized Daily Tasks

Debbie and slept in to try and get well from this cold.  We had prayer and listened to this week's Come Followe Me lesson from D&C 51-57.

4 PM - Debbie goes to Alex Gourley's baseball game then at 6 PM goes to Ellie's soccer game.  When it is over they come to watch the end of Tate's baseball game at 6:30 PM.

6:30 PM -  I go and watch Tate's baseball game.  Jared took Max to the Legacy Center for his swim team.  Jack went with him.  Tylee got a ride from her cheerleading at school to meet her dad and brothers back at the baseball field.  Debbie came after Ellie's soccer game to meet us; then took Ellie to get something to eat, then took her home.

2020 tax return and estimated 2021taxes; Dan Guinn is mailing them to me.  The tax returns were e-filed for 2020.

Call Larry Bul, Eddie Lovett, and Bobby Husley and reschedule the appointment with bush hog, chain saw, and weedeater for family graveyard Pleasant Hill GA from the end. of May to June or July.

Write (email) Sister Alexandra McAlpin:  Dear Sister Alex McAlpin,

Debbie and I have a few thoughts we hope will benefit you.

Always remember, “There is little growth in the comfort zone and little comfort in the growth zone.  This applies to the physical, mental, and epically the spiritual times of our lives.

We try and stay caught up on this year’s Come Follow Me lesson.  The other day we picked this thought up from D&C 46:3, 6-9.                                                                                                                                                   3 Nevertheless ye are commanded never to cast anyone out from your public meetings which are held before the world.

6  ……that if there be any that are not of the church, that are earnestly seeking after the kingdom, ye shall not cast them out.

7 But ye are commanded in all things to ask of God, who giveth liberally; and that which the Spirit testifies unto you even so I would that ye should do in all holiness of heart, walking uprightly before me, considering the end of your salvation, doing all things with prayer and thanksgiving, that ye may not be seduced by evil spirits, or doctrines of devils, or the commandments of men; for some are of men, and others of devils.

8 Wherefore, beware lest ye are deceived; and that ye may not be deceived seek ye earnestly the best gifts, always remembering for what they are given;

9 For verily I say unto you, they are given for the benefit of those who love me and keep all my commandments, and him that seeketh so to do; that all may be benefited that seek or that ask of me,……

The Lord taught Joseph and the saints, “Instead of saying this is what you are doing wrong – let me impart to you a little wisdom.                                                                                                                Then while you are thinking about it, let me put my arm around you and assist you.”

You are so fortunate to have a dad and mom who taught you, your brothers, and sister this way.                                                                                                                      The world would be a much better place if all parents and teachers taught this way, they did not yell, hit, slap or kick their children but followed the example of a kind loving Heavenly Father.

We love you and our prayers are with you, your companion and investigators.

Grandpa and Grandma Debbie
