Prioritized Daily Tasks  

Debbie picked up my medicine the doctor ordered for my cold.  

Today Leland Anderson, face-timed or Instagrammed a message to his contacts, which included Debbe.  He worked with Debbie and his and Gina's children went to American Heritage.  He left and took his family to Shenzhen Guangdong, China when he started a school.  He and his wife, Gina have 6 children.  The oldest, a daughter on a mission in Portland, Organ.  On Mother's Day, May 9th, Gina a severe headache and running a fever.  They took her to the hospital; then transferred her to a major hospital in Hong Kong.   The doctors there air flighted her to Salt Lake City.  She has Staphylococcus Aureus infection in the Aritic Vale.  The infection has spread to her spleen and to her brain and is spreading throughout her body.  In addition to the infection, she has blood clots in her right and left legs.  There is an abscess in her Artic Vale leaving a hole.  She is going down fast in the last two weeks.  Their daughter, Emily, was allowed to come home for a week from her mission.  All their family and friend are fasting for Gina today as she goes in for surgery.  Debbie and I did not eat breakfast and are fasting for her today.  I will start taking my Amox/K Clav, antibiotic, Benzonatate for relief of caught, and Mucinex to loosen break up mucus.

This afternoon we learned Gina Anderson finally got out of surgery and is in ICU.  There was enough of her own body tissue left, after the surgeons removed the abscess, to attach donated tissue, to patch the hole.   She will be on IVs for the Staphylococcus Aureus infection in ICU for several days.  Debbie and I thanked the Lord for blessing her and the doctors and we broke our fast.
