4 AM - up, personal prayer, shower shaved, breakfast, pack,
6 AM - Debbie called and we had prayer
6:30 AM drive to SLC Airport, left my face mask and had to go back to the Land Rover to find one, left my cell phone and. keys to the Land Lover when going through security. I did not miss them until I was getting on the plane. I deboarded and walked back in the tunnel from terminal B to security. When I got back with my keys and cell phone Delta was boarding now shows and was about to give my seat to some stand-buys. The door was shut on the plane about 1 minute after I boarded. (This was a good test to check my patience with myself and others. I think I did OK.). Gavin picked me up at the John Wayne, Orange County Airport

| Depart: Arrive: We went to Michael and Autumn's. They were not home. Blake was with his friends and Gracey was sleeping. When Michael got home everyone when to lunch at Michael's favorite place to eat here in San Clemente on the strip (Main St. just a few blocks from his home) I went home with Beth and Andrew. Later a young mother with a son Andrew's age picked him up and took him to the trampoline play building. Beth and I drove over to the beach and park where we picked Tucker and Maggie up from Jr. Life Guard camp. We stopped on the way back home and Beth and I got a couple of hats to keep the sun off us. Beth went and got her nails done while I stayed home with Tucker and Maggie and waited on Andrew to get back. Later in the evening Beth, Tucker and I rode down to gas station on I-5 and Pico Ave. in San Clemente. We met Brett, Rae Lynn and the children, Owen, Brody and Weston. We brought Ethan and Luke back with us. I check with Ethan and Luke about the missionary indexed copy of the Book of Mormon; Ethan has his copy but Luke did not get on his 12th birthday, 2nd, Feb. 20. I wrote a message on the front cover from Grandma Debbie and me telling him to study the scriptures for his mission and he is loved. The children all made posters to take to the airport tomorrow to welcome Sister Alexandra "Alex" McAlpin home. Beth all the children together and we had family prayer. Tucker led us and to boys played their video games and went to sleep on the couch. I had my personal prayer and slept in Maggie's room.  The children making welcome home posters for Sister Alexandra "Alex" McAlpin tomorrow when she arrives at Orange County Airport. Michael shared pictures of the young men's high adventure he went on with Blake and his friends this month from his ward and stake. The trip was in northern California just south of the state of Organ in the Trinity Alps High Sierra.                      |
