Email to Michael and Autumn: Concerning Manuel, Manny, be patient.  Be patient with him.                                When I was young I would tell you what you wanted to hear and then go and do as I pleased.                                                    Dad was upset with my sister, Elain, and me because we would not settle down and be quiet while he was trying to visit with his brother, Uncle Bruce.  He grabbed Elain and started whipping her.  She started crying and yelling, "Oh mean Daddy, I hate you."  When he finished with her he reached for me and I started hollering, "Oh good Daddy, I love you."  Uncle Bruce started laughing and then Dad's anger subsided and he started smiling and let me go.   Another story, when I was 5 years old walking home from school with neighbor boys.  There was one boy, a year. or two older than me wanted to share candy he has stolen from Mr. White's grocery store.  I would not steal the candy but I really wanted to take some of the candy Terry had stolen.  Fortunately among the boys, was an older Dobbs boy, he nor his brothers would take any candy and told me it was wrong to steal or eat any of the candy that had been stolen.  As the twig is bent so the tree will grow.  In spite of my tendency to not be honest, I was taught by my parents and grandmothers and told stories of my grandfathers of being honest and having integrity.  "A man's word is his bond.  If you make a good deal, stick tight; if you make a bad deal, stick tighter."  I was told the story where a man had made a deal with his word and sealed it with a handshake.  The man died before he could fulfill his agreement but his sons knew of the arrangement their father had made and they honored the deal just as their father would have done even though there was no written agreement and no way the family could have been forced to honor the agreement the father had made with the man.  

I remember when I was getting baptized and looking for a way to not make a commitment to keep all of God's laws and statutes.  I was standing in the baptism font hearing the words being spoken by the missionary and looking up toward heaven and asking the Lord to give me a sign, any sign, and I will stop this baptism and walk out of the single-phase building of the Church in Marietta, Georgia.  No sign came and I felt my knees buckling and going under the water backward in the baptism font.  As I came up, I can remember distantly my thought, "You have done it now.  For the rest of your life, you will have to keep all the promises you have just made.  If you make a commitment to a man you keep it.  How much more bindings should be the agreements (covenants) between me and God.

Just be patient with Manny, you never know what the Lord has in store.

Debbie and I called Marco Salazara with eHealth, aligned with Costco Wholesale and we signed up for 2022, January 1st,  to switch from Humana HMO plan to Signa PPO.  

I called American Express to get Debbie setup so she get 1 free check bag with Delta Airlines when flying.

Go by Dr. David Kimball's office to get a referral to see the P.T. tomorrow and Dr. Ryan Richards returned my call from yesterday and they are also faxing a referral to the P.T. at 680 E. Main St. here in Lehi.

I tried to get two tickets to the BYU and USC football game Saturday, 27th of Nov. but BYU tickets are all sold.  I talked to Michael and asked him to see if he can get two tickets for Debbie and me.

I called Wells Fargo Customer Service at 1-844-931-2273 and made sure they located Danjanique who helped me with my mortgage gave the most positive feedback I could for the help I received yesterday from Danjanique at Wells Fargo Mortgage.
