When I woke this morning I had text messages from Debbie, Beth, and Rae Lynn.  They all arrived safely, Debbie to her mother's in Shelly, and Beth and Rae Lynn and Brett all got home with their children.

Call Polk County property tax office in Cedartown to get the accessor to change valuation of Cason Road Health.  I talked to the girl in the Accessor's office and another in the Tax Commissioner's office.  I have to fill our a form and file it to have the taxes assessed on the facility from a nursing home to a health care facility.

Debbie called this morning.  Jalna, her mother, is taking more of the medication than what the doctor prescribed.  Her pain is getting worst and her body is adjusting to the pain medication so it takes more to give her the relief as it did when she first started.

I read and listened to scriptures today and something I had read many times, but it sank in today, was regarding the creation and God and the Gods: Jeremiah 7:23 but this is what I commanded them: Walk in obedience to all I command you, that it may go well with you. and I will be your God, and you will be my people.  -  and then in Abraham 4:18, And the Gods watched those things which they had ordered until they obeyed. Verse 21: And the Gods saw that they would be obeyed, and that their plan was good.  Verse 31: And the Gods said: We will do everything that we have said, and organize them; and behold, they shall be very obedient.

God is still watching and waiting for us obey Him.  God does not give up on us, He keeps watching, waiting and working on us waiting for us to obey.

Continuing on but now on the subject of the Sabbath, a commandment the Lord has given us, 6 days to work and the Sabbath, a day of rest.  The Lord does not get tired physically as we do, but there is something about spiritual rest that is important we learn.  D&C 84:23 Now this Moses plainly taught to the children of Israel in the wilderness, and sought diligently to sanctify his people that they might behold the face of God;

24 But they hardened their hearts and could not endure his presence; therefore, the Lord in his wrath, for his anger was kindled against them, swore that they should not enter into "His rest" (the 7th day we are now in, according to His time), while in the wilderness, which rest is the fulness of his glory.  Genesis 2: 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Matthew called, he, Melodie, the girls, and Vicky, Melodie's mother all went to Sundance skiing.  I drove up to the cabin to visit and stay a few days.

I called and talked to Debbie.  She is staying with her mother this week. Debbie and I had had prayer.  Matthew, Melodie, Madeline, Bella, Ava, and Vickie, Melodie's mother got in.  They went skiing at Sundance and then shopping for more winter clothes in Provo.  Before going to bed I had family prayer with everyone except Vickie and Ava who had gone to bed.
