Fill the outback with gas (Costco Wholesale, 13 gals, gas $3.2999 gal.)
Drive back home from Shelly, ID
Find someplace for Beth, Debbie, and me to minister on Dec. 24th (help someone or some group in need: Maybe, Community Action Services (CAS) Address, 815 South Freedom Blvd (200 W) Ste 100, Provo, UT - 84601, THEY ONLY ALLOW 10 PEOPLE AT A TIME IN TO SERVE)
I took the Outback and filled it with gas while Debbie and Karlene went shopping for their mother. When they got back they talked Jalna into taking a bath. Debbie scrubbed her back while Karlene changed her bed linen, blankets, bathroom rugs, etc. They used Jalna's washer and dryer and brought two more loads over to Karlene's to wash and dry. Debbie asked me to pick up some potatoes for the holidays from Reed, her brother. I called him; he was at the shop. I went by and we took his truck and went to one of their cellars. Conveyor belts they use to load transfer trailer trucks with potatoes from the cellars to the trailers. The cellar we went to contained red potatoes. Reed got a 50-pound bag and hand-picked the potatoes for Debbie. We brought them back and put the bag on his shoulder and carried it to the Outback. When we got home and I went to unload the sack of potatoes, I realized they were more than 50 pounds in the bag. I weighed them; they were 78 pounds of potatoes in the sack.

Dear Family and Friends,
We love this time of the year to celebrate the birth of our brother, Savior and king, Jesus Christ. We love to see the excitement on our 38 grandchildren’s faces as they open presents and show their love to others. It is snowy in our part of the country and makes it look a lot like Christmas. We always pray for the safety of our 9 children and their families as they travel this holiday season!
Len and I have been married since 2014 and we served a humanitarian mission for our church from 2015-2017 in Serbia (the old Yugoslavia). We loved our service there as we worked on water projects, helped with refugees coming from Afghanistan and serving the Serbian people. We got to travel back to our mission and visit friends and make new ones!
We are now helping others enjoy church in a memory care center and enjoying our grandchildren and family activities.
We hope this holiday season brings you much joy and love! We cherish your friendship and love! Stop by when you are in our neck of the woods! Be safe and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2022!
All our love,
Debbie and Len McAlpin
