Isabella "Bella" 9th Birthday

Give Debbie a blessing before I leave.

Debbie and I had prayer.  Jared brought Jack over for us to watch today.  He is working from home because of Covid.  His company is having an emergency meeting today at 10 AM.  Jack is full of energy and will not be still and quiet.  Jared and his family live in an apartment and he needs things to be quiet during his meeting; that is why he brought Jack over for us to watch.  Debbie showed him her plans for the backyard.  Jared had some good suggestions to clean up the plans and make it more simple.

I called the Atlanta Temple and put Kylie Jo Hobbs' and Debbie's names on the prayer roll.  Kylie is having some challenges accepting the family moving from St. George to Logan where her Dad, Ryan, has taken a job at Utah State University in Logan, UT.  Kylie's friends in large part are seniors and one of them is a boy.  She is very talented at singing and dancing.  She is on the high school dance team and they compete with other high schools.  She is telling her parents that pulling her out will hurt the team and not only affects her but all the other members of the team.  She wants to stay in St. Geroge and live with a friend or her mother, Stephanie's, parents, her grandparents.  Debbie's right hip and lower back is bothering her; it is hard for her to get up and down, walk, especially walking downstairs.

I worked on getting things ready to travel to the south and Peggy Holmes' funeral this weekend.  I also finished reading "Why We Fought", a WW II, inspiring stories about those who resisted Hitler and defended freedom.

 5 Dec 2021, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task  9 AM - Church Lehi 7th Ward (Fast Sunday) 11:25 AM - We attended tithing settlement with bishop Lehi 7th Ward 5 PM - Alex and Riley for dinner. We filled stakes, had baked of a  potato and salad.    At 6 PM  we watched the Frist Presidency Christmas Devotional.   I talked to Matthew and the girls.  I called and talked to Beth, Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew.  Rae Lynn called and we talked to her and Weston.  We called and texted Michael and Autumn.  Michael called back from Georgia.  Autumn set a text; she was at dinner with the other children. Debbie and watched a Christmas movie, had prayer, and went to bed. "Alex", Alexandra McAlpin, gave us a letter she wrote on the back of a picture her friend drew of Jesus touching and helping two women with heavy hearts, on Oct. 26, 2021.  15 Jan 2022, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task I mailed pillowcase to Rae Lynn for Ethan Luke Owen Brody and Weston to sign for Andrew. I also sent a note asking Rae Lynn to get the boys to sign Owen's and bring it with her to Andrews baptism for his cousins to sign and write on.  Debbie dropped me off at the post office and she went shopping.  I walked to the Legacy center to exercise and when Debbie finished she picked me up.  We came home and had brunch. I purchased airline tickets Feb 10 - 14, for Debbie and me to attend Andrew's baptism on Feb. 12th I received the names of all of Peggy's children, grandchildren, spouses etc. from her daughter, Tanja.  I sent Max Kimball a copy 7:00 PM - Alex Gourley, performed at the Grand Festival Concert at the Abravanel Hall in SLC with the Utah All-State Philharmonic Orchestra

 17 Jan 2021, Sunday Prioritized Daily Task 9 AM - Sacrament meeting broadcast to our home Michael and Blake arrive from dropping friends off at the SLC Airport We had the sacrament administered and passed here at our home after we ate brunch.   Debbie hung balloons and Happy Birthday banner - She prepared a huge brunch with angel food cake for dessert to celebrate my 77th birthday Michael got our computers connected to our printer/scanner before leaving.  He and Blake stopped and saw Autumn's younger brother, Dallin, his wife Alyssa McEwin, and their 6 little children all under the age of 4, 3 of them are triples. 5 PM Jared, Jami, Porter, Tate, Max and Jack came over.  Just behind them was George, Laura, Alex, Clara, Allison and Samantha with her boyfriend, Tyler.  We had another birthday party.  Debbie prepared a big meal with a Devilfood Cake.   There were candles on the Angelfood Cake and the Devilfood Cake for me to make a wish and...
